Vacancy: Events Co-ordinator

Purpose of the role: The postholder will, under the supervision of the Head of Policy and the senior management team, co-ordinate the organisation of the Party’s conferences and other events, organise fundraising events, as well as manage the Party’s presence at external national events such as the Eisteddfod and Royal Welsh Show. The role will involve close liaison with partners and working regularly across teams within the Party’s head office to ensure the delivery of events to a professional standard.

Vacancy: Communications Officer

Purpose of the role: The Communications Officer will support the delivery of Plaid Cymru’s communications strategy, helping to present the party’s message clearly, creatively and consistently across digital, internal and media channels. Working under the Head of Political Strategy and Communications, you will help present Plaid Cymru’s messages in a clear, engaging and values-led way that appeals to voters, strengthens the party’s profile, and supports wider workstreams including campaigns and membership.

You will be responsible for creating social media content including short form vidoes and graphics, supporting internal communications, and assisting with press and media activity. This is a role within the Communications Team, suited to someone with strong digital instincts, good writing skills, political awareness, and a commitment to Plaid Cymru’s values.
