Councillors

Plaid Cymru has county, town, and community councillors across our country. They serve the people of Wales at the most local level possible.

Following the 2022 local government elections, Plaid Cymru won 202 seats, which is the second most of any political party in Wales. This was one of Plaid Cymru’s most successful local elections ever, winning a majority on 4 councils. Plaid Cymru now leads or has leadership roles in 8 of Wales' 22 local authorities.
